The Coney Island Board of Trade (CIBOT) and Astella Development Corp. celebrated the holidays and
their 2011 accomplishments with a dinner at La Diva in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, on December 1. Over the past year, CIBOT, in collaboration with Astella, presented Mermaid Ave. Clean Sweep, Mermaid Ave. Summer Sidewalk Sale, Black History Month contests, and launched the CIBOT website. Edwin Cosme, CIBOT president, told the group of revealers, “This year we’ll have even more events to reach out to the community and help small businesses to prosper in Coney Island.”
